Does Latham make grants?
No. As a private operating foundation, Latham does not
make cash grants; rather, it works in many non-partisan
roles including publisher, producer, facilitator,
sponsor, and colleague.
We would like to exchange links with you. What’s the
procedure?
With the improvements in web search engines, and the
ever changing content on the web, Latham does not list
website links. We encourage you to let us know of
special events that your organization is doing, or is
aware of that we can add to our events and news
calendar. Please email all such information to
.
I’d like to submit an article or book review for
consideration for the Latham Letter. In what
format do you want it? What else do you need from me?
The Latham Letter welcomes manuscripts (with
accompanying photographs) and book reviews relevant to
the Foundation’s interests, but reserves the right to
publish such at its discretion. We do not pay authors
for their submissions. Please e-mail your submissions to
or send to Latham on a PC-formatted disk in Microsoft
Word (.doc) or rich text format (.rtf). Please also send
information about yourself (relevant background, current
position, education, expertise related to the topic,
etc. If accepted for publication, authors will be
expected to sign the Copyright Release Form that follows
here.
How can we include our upcoming event in the
Latham Letter and on your list?
Send all relevant information (date, time, location,
sponsoring agency(ies), cost, contact person for further
information, etc.) via e-mail to
or
fax to 510-521-9861. Latham reserves the right to list
only those submissions that reflect the Foundation’s
focus, scope, and quality.
We are looking for a speaker for a conference. Do you
have any suggestions?
Call Latham with information about your event and
details of who you have already contacted or thought of.
We will be glad to respond with additional ideas.
How can I support the Foundation’s work?
As producers of humane educational materials for the
benefit of both humans and non-humans, the Foundation
relies on its members who reside in various locations
throughout the United States for assistance in
representing it and its services to their communities.
